You've read the online articles, viewed the TV shows and you've tried your best, and sometimes they thrive, but then…
Or you know all about their herbal properties, but don't know what they look like or how to grow them...
A plant dies unexpectantly despite your best efforts...
There is a gap between the books/online articles and what happens in your garden..
You want to grow herbs suited to your specific Australian conditions
You feel it should be easier than this... so where is the help I really need?
You don't need more tips. You need ongoing expert guidance that leads you into the plant world.
A source of trusted information & real world experience
Christopher Smith has spent over 50 years at the intersection of horticulture, herbal medicine, and environmental science. This isn't theoretical study; it's deep, practical knowledge earned through decades of growing.
He created Herbology Hub to share this grounded knowledge in a clear, step-by-step way. The aim is not just to give you information... It's structured guidance that walks you through how herbs actually grow, to create abundance in your own garden.
Herbology Hub can help!

HERBOLOGY HUB gives you direct access to my expertise across Horticulture, Herbal Medicine and Science to help you grow the herbs you want.
Our meet ups each month are live & based on Australian conditions.
You get to interact ask Q and even suggest topics to explore.
When we talk about plants in the Hub it goes way beyond the clinical theory or health food store bottled fads to have you build a deep, physical relationship with the living plants in your garden.
2 Live meet ups online Per Month:
Office Hour -60 minutes: Questions, mini topics, updates and Guest speakers
In Depth Topic discussion - 90 minutes: Where we explore a single topic - not skim over it.
This is Step-by-Step knowledge & expertise: Christopher specialises in making topics understandable, building understanding and taking people 'by the hand' through the material.
Being live we interact, ask questions, go off on tangents sometimes and relate the material to your experience.
- Full Recording Library: Watch or re-watch sessions anytime, at your own pace.
- Direct Access to Christopher plus Q&A: Get your specific growing questions answered by an experienced mentor.
- Private Facebook Group: where you can share your herb growing adventures, triumphs & tragedies.
- Monthly newsletter: links to the recordings, Hub updates, upcoming talks and links to join

- You are growing herbs (culinary, medicinal, or both) and want more confidence and less guesswork.
- You want access to expert knowledge & real world experience instead of confusing, inconsistent advice.
- Your interested enough to learn thoroughly
-That sustainable cultivation and organic practices are important to you.
You could be a home grower wanting to expand your herb patch or a practitioner looking to connect with the living plants beyond the textbooks and brown bottles in the dispensary.
You don't need to be experienced...
You do need to be willing to give it a go...
This is not for:
- People looking for quick fixes or "hacks".
- Casual dabblers who aren't interested in learning properly
Unlike generic programs that rely on information dumping and stale, pre-recorded presentations, Herbology Hub is built on live, interactive depth.
We refuse to rush through topics or make assumptions about your experience; instead, we prioritise calm, considered learning and question-driven guidance that adapts to the actual needs of your plants and your land.
You aren't just buying theory—you are accessing over 45 years of lived horticultural experience and a rare integration of environmental science and clinical herbalism that ensures you grow properly, not just fast.

As a member your questions and concerns are taken seriously. I encourage you to ask questions in the meet ups... The only silly question is the one unasked. Also request a special topic or herb to be covered. Its all possible.

Christopher reaches out into the herbal world to have specialists in their field talk about a range of topics. We have had industry professionals talk on Nutrition, Homeopathy, Flower essences and Herbal Drop dosing...

Bringing together knowledge folkloric, historical & contempary to communincate the essence of the herbs function. Plus where it comes from, how to grow it, where to source plants

Christopher is a qualified herbalist and horticulturist with over 50 years of practical experience in plant cultivation.
His professional training began at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, where observing senior gardeners treat injuries with plants like Comfrey sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding herbs as healers rather than just nice looking plants.
This foundational training is supported by a university degree in Environmental Science, providing a rare integration of scientific principles and decades of hands-on growing expertise.
As a specialist in sustainable cultivation and stewardship, Christopher has successfully grown over 120 medicinal species.
He also has a soft spot for endangered or little known herbs such as Solomon's Seal and Golden Seal.
